		Requirement We were asked to produce a six minute 3D animation of the Colt Data Centre facilities. The entire animation was created from blueprints of the facility; this enabled the models to be created in real-world dimensions and at a 100% accurate scale. Everything in the film is ‘inch perfect’ which now means we have a virtual model of the facilities for Colt to utilise and take new footage any time they require.
		The amount of geometry that we needed to build was phenomenal, we built lorries, trees, sub-power stations, offices, generators and the interiors of the data centre. Everything was a complete scale replica of what you would find on location at the Colt Data Centre facilities.
		It was a huge task and even with our super high-powered computers, each frame took a staggering eight minutes to render. We finally rendered the sequences, edited the footage and added a bespoke score to the edit. We are extremely proud of this work and it is testimony to our abilities to work even harder in the face of a really hard challenge.
